Hi, my name is Aisyah Rozi. This is my personal blog where I share my life experience, thoughts, ideas and occasionally, my projects. Recently, however, I share a lot about being a young mother. I'm also a YouTuber, so do checkout my channel! <3

I had really high hopes but then it was killed like, in a split second.

Please ignore the title. I don’t intend to explain anything on that. It’s just so heartbreaking to think that you’re halfway there only to find out that you’re back to square one.

Anyway, I know, I was supposed to blog about my exciting study trip to Turkey. But my computer crashed, sent it to Apple for over a week and kinda lost the enthusiasm. Sad, I know. It was so much fun! Anyway, I have lots to do.

Studio, that is.

and I need to catch up with my studies. Been playing too much, I think. Considering I’m aiming to get atleast, ATLEAST 3A’s just so I’m back in the game.

So far, Studio seems… hopeless.

Below is screenshot of my new description on Tumblr.

Please note the word “depressed”.

Chocolate Chip Cookiessssssss =D

I’m bored.

Actually, no. I’m supposed to do assignment. But I’m procrastinating since I’m not really sure what I’m going to do. haha. My sister and I went shopping this morning. Konon last minute raya shopping but we bought things that are unrelated to raya since we already got all the raya stuffs.

I know the picture above is not us shopping. But it was taken when I was driving on the fast lane to the mall. hahah. Nasib baik sempat pull out smart tag. -_-

Then, after feeling so suffocated by the mall getting more and more crowded as the hour passed by, we went home. We wanted to bake chocolate chip cookies that Eddie’s mum made. I had a taste of it, and it was super super scrumptious! However, I didn’t get the recipe from her, and I regret it. Asking Eddie to ask his mum takes forever, and I should’ve known. -__- So, I googled for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever, and found it. Though I altered it a bit by adding cream of tartar and a bit of cocoa powder for a bit of color.

Prepared the batter, and added the chocolate chips. Lots of em.

_MG_7737

Scooped em on the pan. Bit by bit. We doubled the recipe so there was a lot of scooping and baking, and running to and fro from oven to scooping. The first 2 batches were very slightly burned (still delicious, and only mild burns smell on some). My mum came home just in time to be the saviour and reduce the oven’s temperature. That made me feel so dumb. haha. -___-

After almost 2 hours of hardwork and charms…

Voila! You have ’em cookies! Like magic. haha.

So, the cookies turned out very scrumptious. and crunchy too! Yeayness! My sisters love em lots, I do too, and I couldn’t stop eating ze cookies (like, seriously! hahah) eventho I think they’re a bit sweet for my liking. I’m very satisfied with the result! Although, I still wished I had Eddie’s mum’s recipe.

I don’t know why I’m blogging about baking. Not like it’s my first time. Well it is, for chocolate chip cookies, (without mum’s help, atleast).

yeay, as the official cookie monster, I have every right to steal the cookies from the cookie jar! rawrrrrr!

Yesterday.

Yesterday was such a shit day.

First, I only had 2.5 hours of sleep, because I was busy finishing up the drawings for our art kiosk project. It’s a small duo project, lecturer said, but it needs a lot of thinking and alot of tedious works. Like, thinking how to make the structure moveable and transformable. Sounds fun, but it’s a snooze to me. It’s a kiosk for  god’s sake. How fancy could a kiosk be, on a street where there’s a lot of old buildings? Like, say, Jonker street of Malacca. (Hence, the trip to Malacca)

Anyway, right before the presentation, we had 3Ds max exam 1. and I couldn’t do it. There were so many steps, I couldn’t keep up. I always have problems with computers or rather, they have problems with me since they wont do what I want them to do. Specifically Windows. haha. Plus somehow the program wont let me undo AT ALL so I was so stressed like hell. Turned out I needed to restart the program. FML. Plus I was having an ache on the backside of my ribs. I dont know why, stress maybe.

Then, Studio time. I was so down by the stupid test, it killed my excitement to present. Most of the times I was lost of words. It was the shittiest presentation I’ve ever done, like, ever. Mind you, I normally give an above average, or fairly good presentation like I dont even feel nervous whatever shit. But this time, I have no idea why. Maybe I was blur or having one of those blanks. Anyway, the lecturer seemed to like the concept, but I strongly think we should have done more drawings and sketches to convey the idea. Like I said, I wasnt very excited about this project and that made me kinda lazy. HAHA! (ok, not funny.)

And then, after the shit exam and shit presentation, all I wanted to do was go home and play with my baby sister and my rabbit. But again, another shit happened and I was stuck in jam for 1.5 hours. THE WORST JAM EVER. Usually it takes me 25 mins to get home. I was so disappointed, so stressed about the jam and everything else, I cried in the car. hahahaha (now, that’s funny).

Got home, I went straight to my room, didn’t even say hi to mum and cried again. haha. So emo la this girl. Then, I toughened up, lied to myself that everything will be okay, took a shower, and head downstairs to buka puasa.

Hmm.. fasting month, afterall, is a month to test your patience. Maybe there’s a bright side to all of these. I’m sure there is. 🙂

Anyway, right now I’m not sure if architecture really is for me. Maybe I just need to get inspired. I just hope that I’ll be excited for next project. And another. and another. Atleast enough to sustain me until I get my part 2, or part 3. I’ll figure out what I want I really to do once I finish my studies.

Maybe, just maybe, I get to become an artist. 🙂

p.s, yesterday might be a bad day for me, but not today. Had a good time shopping with my mum and spending the day with her.

Baking

Story about my mum and my 8 y.o. sis, on a fine sunny day, perfect for baking. Or taking a nap.

Aida: Umi, umi, nak buat cake!

Umi: oh, nak buat cake apa?

Aida: Nak buat chocolate blueberry cake! Ni ada resipi ni.

Umi: mana, nak tengok.

*Aida gave mum a recipe she had written down*

Umi: Cake apa ni Aida? Masuk 5 biji telur… hm… kenapa pelik resipi ni, macam nak buat pancake je?

Aida: Buat la umi, buatlaaaaa!

Umi: Aida dapat mana resipi ni?

Aida: oh, Aida reka sendiri. hehehe..
