Okay since the major assignments are done, I’m so happy now and as much as I’m tempted to bitch here, I won’t cause I bitched too much on a few airheads in school so yeah.. enough.

so, ANYWAYS… we submitted our public toilet! wooohoooo! And I’m sooo satisfied with this one, way, way more satisfied than the window display assignment. Some of other groups turned out good, too, like Jason’s and Sean’s. Although there are some that I find of poor and tacky taste or overly designed and immature (wont point out which, but you be the judge), the overall result of the class made the lecturer very happy. PHEW!

The funny thing is, this is an interior design subject which architecture students are taking as an elective yet, the good ones are by architecture students rather than the interior students. No offense, but that’s quite frustrating. We were hoping for a more challenging competitors. I suppose  interior students should be better in this area than the architecture kids? oh well.

After all the brainstorming and conceptualization, and all the times spent in the studio until outside, REAL world was totally ignored, here’s the result. 🙂

Our concept is seashell, basically. Since it’s for National Art Gallery, we wanted to make it more abstract therefore we turned everything into almost sculptural, (you can even call them sculptures if you like), like the sculptural wall, as an abstract form of the coarse and fragmented shells. And the partition is to resemble corals as to make it more ocean feel, functioning as the filter to avoid reflections of the cubicles in the mirrors which can be distracting. Industrialized materials were used instead of organic as to make the whole design more unpredictable. 🙂

So the title above translates for procrastination.

Assignments are making me fat. and broke. and I don’t know which one is worse.

I’m broke cause I keep spending my money buying materials and food. and I’m fat cause I ate all the food. The sole reason of me keep eating cause I need the energy to concentrate while it’s just bullshhhh cause I’m eating sugary food when I’m not hungry. Then I get sugar rush and start laughing for no reason. If you happen to see a hippo working on a model while munching on KitKat Crunchy and drinking the shitty Redbull, that is, no doubt is me. So don’t forget to say hi.

*sigh* so, so, fat.

OKAY SO MAYBE I SHOULD STOP SAYING THAT I’M FAT EVEN THOUGH I AM CAUSE I REALIZED THAT I SAY THAT I’M FAT MOST OF THE TIME AND I SHOULDN’T TYPE IN CAPS CAUSE IT’S ANNOYING.

ah, I hate shift people. U know, people wHo tYpE liKe tHis. yeah, that’s so random and I mentioned that before.

Anyways, I got distracted halfway through writing this entry. Went on facebook, and suddenly active on twitter. so yeah, I forgot what I was supposed to blog about. My mind is so occupied with so many things right now like how I’m out of chocolates and milk. And no Honey Stars to munch on for supper. and there are movies I wanna watch and I’ve got no time. and  there’s a new store opening in Pyramid and I want to shop. and oh yeah, my assignments.

So maybe I should relax a bit, like watch Family Guy episodes before doing my assignments.

Taylor’s College, PJ. October 26.

Only architecture/design students are psychotic enough to actually do this in the middle of the day, in college. with all of other students and people of other courses just looking at us. oh well. And guess what, 3 of the lecturers also joined in! Well, Mr Kit, Mrs Sofia, and Mr Hong, you guys are the coolest lecturers!

I stayed up very late doing my research paper the night before, and so I decided to just wear casual. Then again, being me, I just couldn’t resist from doing something. For art’s sake, you know. :p

The whole day was so funny, sometimes I didn’t know who’s who cause they were wearing masks. And seeing how other people dressed up. We were very in tune with our characters all the time. Well, almost. Hiiiilaaaariouuuuus.

The foundation student conquered the best dressed award. The Joker, and Catwoman. Mrs Sofia won the best dressed in lecturer’s category. 😀
