Hi, my name is Aisyah Rozi. This is my personal blog where I share my life experience, thoughts, ideas and occasionally, my projects. Recently, however, I share a lot about being a young mother. I'm also a YouTuber, so do checkout my channel! <3

the art of studying

First, get some grapes and put it in the blender cup.

Then, add some strawberries.

step2

step3

step4

Just drink it straight from your blender cup if you are dead lazy like me.

Also, you may add some icing sugar before you blend it if you like it extra sweet. (I like it extra sweet too, only I like them in my chocolates for that extra sugar rush!)

Now that you have your sugar rush, you are ready to study, and you will have less chances of getting bored and move on to facebooking!

Most importantly, the hyper-activeness from the sugar keeps you awake during studying*. yeay!

*theoretically speaking

I have exam tomorrow. English and Building Construction and I’m soooooo worried about English! ZOMGGGGGGG. Bye.

A fragment of a girl’s mind

Hmm.. what should I write here. What, what, what. About the weird, random scribbling and drawings pasted on the walls in my house? Or, or, about Aida’s funny, smart quotes. But I talked too much about Aida, like I’m obsessed with her. Which is partly true. um, um, how about my assignments?. Oh wait, all done. yes!

hm… oh oh, I know! About… the shooting yesterday. Had lots of fun eventhough it was quite stressful handling the kids and so many people talking to me. But I haven’t gotten the pictures yet. =( Hmmm…. Oh I don’t have time to blog now. Need to edit video. but I’ll have my breakfast first. What should I have, huh? What does my tongue feels like…? I think I want… some cereals and milk, and some bread and chocolate spread. and I’ll make some strawberry smoothies like the one I made last night and it was scrumptious!

*flies to the kitchen*

Blocked.

Are you familiar with one of those designer’s block when you spend hours of time drinking coffee, (or eating chocolates), browsing around and still feeling hopeless? Yeaaaaap, happening to at the moment. Sucks.

In fact, I can’t even think of a freaking stupid idea right now.

Wait, wait, wait, let me rephrase that.

I can’t even think of anything right now. I don’t know why but I just. can’t. think.

hooooly shit!

Am I turning into a guy? o_O

*jeng jeng jengggggg*

fucked-up

*sigh* life sucks. when you are broke.

One down, 2 more to go. Wait, 3.

Okay since the major assignments are done, I’m so happy now and as much as I’m tempted to bitch here, I won’t cause I bitched too much on a few airheads in school so yeah.. enough.

so, ANYWAYS… we submitted our public toilet! wooohoooo! And I’m sooo satisfied with this one, way, way more satisfied than the window display assignment. Some of other groups turned out good, too, like Jason’s and Sean’s. Although there are some that I find of poor and tacky taste or overly designed and immature (wont point out which, but you be the judge), the overall result of the class made the lecturer very happy. PHEW!

The funny thing is, this is an interior design subject which architecture students are taking as an elective yet, the good ones are by architecture students rather than the interior students. No offense, but that’s quite frustrating. We were hoping for a more challenging competitors. I suppose  interior students should be better in this area than the architecture kids? oh well.

After all the brainstorming and conceptualization, and all the times spent in the studio until outside, REAL world was totally ignored, here’s the result. 🙂

Our concept is seashell, basically. Since it’s for National Art Gallery, we wanted to make it more abstract therefore we turned everything into almost sculptural, (you can even call them sculptures if you like), like the sculptural wall, as an abstract form of the coarse and fragmented shells. And the partition is to resemble corals as to make it more ocean feel, functioning as the filter to avoid reflections of the cubicles in the mirrors which can be distracting. Industrialized materials were used instead of organic as to make the whole design more unpredictable. 🙂
